Substance, strength and style - The Tantu Jute Shoppers From Dharma Door have been expertly handwoven from natural jute to shop with you for years to come. These eco-friendly shopping bags are full texture, and make a lovely statement piece on a hook at home when not in use.
The natural shopper is a mix of natural jute and naturally-dyed brown jute making these bags truly sustainable. Featuring a unique texture, this shopper has been crafted with care, using a combination of some very special techniques - natural dyeing, hand rolling jute (instead of spinning), hand weaving on backstrap looms, handcrafted macrame, and the final bag is sewn by women in a small production centre.
A true work of art, the Tantu Jute Shopper is hand made – from start to finish – by Fair Trade artisans in three different communities in Bangladesh.
